In our hyper-connected world, I’m sure you’ve found yourself doing something similar. This hyper-fast distracted eating is a body-ruining habit you need to break.
“Hara hachi bu” is a Japanese phrase that roughly translates to
“eat until 80% full.”
I also like to simplify it even more and say “eat until your satisfied, not stuffed”. So when helping my clients to eat better, lose some weight, and improve digestion, I ask them to say (or think) this phrase at the start of the meal.
